A creative contemporary dance class for people over 55yrs. A relaxed and friendly session which allows you to move and participate at your own pace. Learn contemporary dance sequences and creative/improvised tasks/exercises.

Contemporary dance class for adults drawing on a range of techniques including: Release technique, Cunningham, Floor work and Improvisation. This is a relaxed and friendly class for adults who have some dance experience. If you are looking for a beginners class please book on Thursdays!

Improve strength, flexibility and mobility while learning the fundamentals of Yoga through yoga poses, sequences and breathing techniques.

The class starts with a warm-up, followed by technical exercises, across-the-floor movement, and a final choreography section. The focus is on building a strong connection between movement and music while developing technique to support confidence and creativity as a dancer.
Come as you are and explore movement in a supportive environment.

I am a Pilates teacher and former ballet dancer. It was Pilates that helped me get back to
performing after a back injury and then again after having my children.
My approach to Pilates is to start with where you're at, and to work with your body and what it
can achieve, always improving and challenging yourself to be the best you can be.
My classes are for all abilities, modifying the exercises from beginner to intermediate/advanced
level.
I have been teaching Pilates for over 25 years, completing my training with Body Control and
Ulysses Pilates in Sydney, Australia.
Not long after my training I moved to London where I have been teaching on and off while
staying involved with performing arts in various ways. I now live near York and looking forward
to teaching again!
Please bring a yoga/exercise mat and small towel. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in,
socks or bare feet.
